Campaign Notification Settings

Infosec IQ provides you with the ability to customize campaign notifications sent to learners enrolled in training. You can customize the email sender, email domain, and from name. These customizations can make it easier for learners to identify training campaign notifications. These settings apply to both AwareEd notifications and PhishSim notifications.

Domain Customization

Navigate to Account Settings > Learner Experience Settings. There are three settings that can be changed.

Sending Domain

The Sending Domain replaces securityiq-notifications.com in IQ notifications with a domain of your choice. Note that you must own the domain and be able to update the DNS record.

From the drop-down menu select one of the following options:

  • Our domain: Campaign notification emails will be sent from securityiq-notifications.com or securityiqeu-notifications.com (depending on the instance of IQ.)
  • Custom subdomain with our domain: Campaign notification emails will be sent from subdomain.securityiq-notifications.com
  • Custom subdomain/domain: Campaign notification emails will be sent from your domain with an option of including a subdomain.

Note: An additional DNS record will be required in order to use the Custom Subdomain/Domain option.

Sending Prefix

The default sending address is notifications@securityiq-notifications.com. This setting allows you to change notifications to a sending address of your choice. The email address does not need to exist, and no additional configuration is required to use a custom sending prefix.

Sender/From Name

This is the sender name that is displayed in the learner’s inbox. The default is “Infosec IQ Notifications.” The sender name can be anything.
